I just returned home yesterday from the third "Broken into Beautiful" Mom Retreat.

The weekend before I was in Virginia at the Our Hearts Are Home Bereaved Parents’ Conference where approximately 125 parents attended in person and over 200 attended online.

The odometer registered just under 2000 miles in ten days!

My heart registered "full to the brim" from all the stories parents shared with me of their beautiful children already in Heaven.

I confess I'm a little tired but I'm working this morning on blog posts, material for this month's in-person support group meeting, registering and following up with moms who will attend the August and October retreats and preparing to facilitate an online book study of "A Grief Observed" by C.S. Lewis beginning next week.

I'm still learning so much about the ins and outs of keeping the website up-to-date and finding new ways to share here as well as the old way of sharing on my original blog,

thelifeididntchoose.com. I can hardly believe it will soon be ten years since that first post! I want to make it easier for folks to find what they are looking for and make it easier to share it with others.

Here is a short list of ministry activity since January:

  • Two, Thursday to Sunday, Mom Retreats (offered free-of-charge to those who attend)

  • Three (soon to be four) local, in-person support group meetings

  • Traveled to Tennessee to share with a local support group there

  • Served as a team member and main session speaker for the Our Hearts are Home Spring Conference in Lynchburg, VA

  • Webinar "How Can I Have Joy Again" through Our Hearts are Home

  • Recorded podcast for While We're Waiting

  • Daily blog posts on thelifeididnchoose.com

  • Thrice weekly blog posts at heartacheandhope.org

  • Daily Facebook posts at https://www.facebook.com/heartacheandhope

  • Providing closed, online support group at the Heartache and Hope closed group

I spend a good portion of each day communicating with bereaved moms, pointing them toward resources and connecting them with online support groups. If you need me, you can reach me here or on Facebook Messenger.

I deeply appreciate every prayer lifted up, every dollar given and every encouraging comment-you are making an eternal difference.

Hearts are strengthened and lives are changed because you choose to invest in this ministry.
