I’m learning to stand up and speak my truth even when others don’t understand it. None of us chose to be bereaved parents.

Because of Jesus, while this reality is harsh, hard and heartbreaking, I have an eternity of rest, renewal and redemption to look forward to

Jealousy is a green-eyed monster and I want no part of it. I have to focus on the gift and not the loss.  I can't always do that.

when my son died suddenly in an accident and a deputy came to my door,  it changed me.  It modified who I am and who I will be.

that’s what child loss does to a mama’s heart.  It shatters it into pieces so tiny and so fragile. And the pieces never make a whole.

I’m waiting for the day my tears will be redeemed.  Waiting for the restoration of what the enemy has stolen, for faith to become sight.

It’s different for every heart. But each of us who know child loss have a season of sorrow. It’s more than “just” the day our child left.

If you can, join us.  You may be nervous up to the very minute you show up or log on but I PROMISE you will not regret it. 

My son is not a number or a statistic or only a memory. He is integral to my story, blood of my blood –part of my life.

I lean into the Word of God and trust in, rely on and affirm the victory of Jesus Christ. But I still GRIEVE.  

All those things that are outside the perfect will of God-the pain, the heartache-aren’t outside His power of redemption.

The glory to come must be some kind of wonderful it if makes the pain of child loss so small there’s no comparison. Will I trust Him?

Heaven will not simply be rest after a long life’s struggle. It will be restoration, redemption, recreation and resurrection.

The character of God is flawless. His ways are holy and good. He will not allow the enemy of my soul to have the last word.

Because I am His child. when I’m hurting, God does not run away or turn a blind eye or a deaf ear-He meets me there.

Know that the Lord God loves you. He LOVES you. He loves YOU.

I have never felt so desolate as the early morning when I was told my son was dead. I knew if I didn’t remind my heart of truth, I’d be lost

This life of travail won’t last forever either. By death or transformation, we will be freed from this earthly tent.

Jesus is the great Bridegroom and the church His Bride. Those of us who love Him, follow Him and wait for Him will not be disappointed!

My Heavenly Father's love is strong enough to hold me fast no matter what perils I face.
